Letter of instruction
An informal document, kept with your will, that tells your executor and family what you own, where accounts and documents are, where credentials are stored and what you want done with each account. It is not legally binding, so it can be updated at any time without an attorney, but it should never contradict the will or contain passwords itself.
Also called: letter of wishes, digital estate plan, estate instructions, memorandum of wishes
