Phishing
A message or call that impersonates a trusted organisation to get you to reveal a password or one-time code, install software, or send money. Text versions are called smishing and phone versions vishing. Signs include contact you did not start, urgency, requests for codes or secrecy, and payment by wire, crypto or gift card.
